最近、サウンドスケジュールを知った私としては、どんどん時間に逆行してCDを聞いているので、昔からのファンの方とは受け取り方が違うかもしれません。
そんな私がこのCDから受けた印象は、『まだインディーズっぽさの残るダサかっこよさと、高いクオリティーが混在している作品』です。

ヴォーカルの大石君の言葉の選び方は独特のセンスがあって好きなのですが、ともすれば関西人的なマニアックな方向に向かいがちです。（関西発のバンドなどで仕方ないのですが･･･）しかし、大石君のヴォーカル、ドラムの川原君やベースの沖君などの演奏力は国内でもトップレベルを誇っていて、その二つが巧く結合した結果、「ダサかっこよさ」が出ているのだと思います。

個人的には「大学物語」や「世直しブッダ」、「マザーコンプレックス」などが好きなのですが、これらの曲に言えるのは「韻を端正にふんでいる独特の詞と心地よい曲のコラボレーション」の妙があるってとこです。とにかく口ずさむ→頭に残る→ぐるぐる頭の中を巡る→なぜか元気になってる自分に気づく･･･。

とにかく詞が独創的で、変わってて、心に刻まれるんですよ~。それが良さでもあり、最近のアンサーとかを聞いてしまった私としては、聞き手を選んでしまう理由でもあるんだと思います。

関西人ならばまあ、まず確実に楽しめると思います、変わった詞の数々を。

ボーカル・大石さんは、のっけの「幼なじみ」から最後「今ここにあるもの」まで、溢れ出す感情を、彼の奥の奥から湧き上がる歌声を通して吐き出している、とでも言いますか、彼の歌声は、彼から溢れ出すものを、聴き手の耳にも心にも浸透させるんです。
彼の歌声は本当に素敵だと思います。

作詞も大石さんがしているんだけど、詞のコトバ一つの選び方も面白かったり、すごいなぁと思えるものです。例えば「愛のかたち」では「鬼さんこちら　手のなるほうへ　あなたの胸が　高鳴るほうへ」という詞とか。切なかったり、悲しかったり。。良い詞ばかりです。

私は生きてる内に彼らの音楽に会えて良かった！と思います。聴いたことのない人は生きているうちに、早く彼らの素敵な音楽に出会うべき。聴いてみてください！

君という花、幼なじみは、ラジオや某番組でもかかっていたので
聴いたことある人も多いかも。
Voの大石君のルックスも人気だが、声がいい。
ジャケは一見アイドルっぽいが(笑)、全然そういう感じではなく
音楽性はちゃんとしているので初めての人でも聴きやすいはず。
覚えやすいメロディーに若者ならではの感性の歌詞で、
特に若い世代の人は共感できるのではないかと思う。
個人的にはマザーコンプレックスがおすすめです。
