この曲は柴田さんがデビュー前から大事に歌い続けてきたという、彼女にとって非常に大事な一曲なのだそうです。
彼女の最近のライブでは、必ずといっていいほど最後に本人の弾き語りで披露されます。
彼女が大事にしたがる理由も、この曲を聴けば充分伝わってきます。
美しいピアノの音とメロディーラインは、まさに秀逸です。

ＣＤではさらにストリングスなどにより雄大感が増しています。
この曲から広がるしばじゅんの世界、ぜひ感じてください。

彼女の歌の底辺に流れている「別離と離別の悲しみ」と「それさえも抱えて受け入れるやさしさ」がもっとも表現されている曲ではないだろうか？透明感と迫力のある歌声を聞いていると自分の中にある悩みが昇華されていく感覚に襲われる。

いつもながら、柴じゅんさんの詩にはドキリとさせられます…オトコとして。

初めて聴いたのはＦＭラジオのキャンペーン？だったかな。
イントロのピアノを聴いた瞬間から鳥肌状態。
そのくせすぐに買うわけでもなく、ラジオから流れるたびに
なぜだか、心の奥をつつかれる日々がすぎました。

決心して（何でそんな必要があったのか…？？）、
このサイトで購入したのもずいぶん前ですが、
改めて、最近聴き込んでいます。

何度聴いても自分のことを唄われているようで（自己陶酔です）
キュンとしてるオジサンもいるんです
(;｡;)
