私は加藤登紀子さんのことは名前しかしらなくて、曲もほとんど聴いたことがなかったのですが、映画「紅の豚」のエンディング・テーマだった「時には昔の話を」を聴いて感動したのでこのCDを買ってみました。すばらしいです。心に染みる曲がいっぱい。歌詞をじっくり味わいたいと心から思える曲が詰まっています。これだけの名曲・有名曲をひとつにまとめて2500円というのも安いと思います。

加藤登紀子さんは先日「二人のビックショウ」でゴスペラーズと共演なさっててその場面で好きになりました。ホント素晴らしい人生をおくってらっしゃる加藤登紀子さん。曲も本当に素晴らしいです!!!!ぜひ聴いてみてください＾＾

同名のシングルベストが出ているが、
これはそれではなく、定評がある曲に、
人気シングルを含めた二枚組のベスト。
長い歌手生活の中で培われた表現力はもちろんだが、
良質な曲と詩に裏づけされた、独特な世界は、
誰にも追随を許さない、確かで豊かな場面が、
一曲一曲で立体的に繰り広げられる。
自身のヒット曲「百万本のバラ」や「知床旅情」
「琵琶湖周航の歌」「さくらんぼの実る頃」はもちろん、
他のアーチスト提供曲などもばっちり収録されている。
ただ、ひとつだけ注文をお願いするとすれば、
加藤登紀子のベストは、多数発売されているが、
ほぼ収録曲が横並びの感がある。
加藤登紀子の曲のよさは、シングルでは表現されないアルバムの曲に、
多くの良さがある。
ぜひ、そういう曲も取り上げてほしい。
