（ノット　オブ　ディス　アース）から全てのアルバムを聞いてますが、このアルバムが一番いいと思います。
なにぶんにも冒険好きな人なので、いろいろと物議をかもし出すアルバムを間に挟んでますが、＜とくに、JOE SATRIANI＞、いいギタリストがギターを活かす曲を丁寧に書き、アルバムにしました、ギター好きは是非聞いて下さい、という雰囲気がプンプンしてきます。

特に７曲目~１２曲目なんて堪らないですね。ギターの練習用にピッタリだと思います。勿論そう簡単にはコピー出来る訳ないですけど。

アルバムのどこから聞いてもこれだけ聞き応えがあるというのは、大変素晴らしいとおもいます。

サトリアーニのアルバムの中では一番ギターサウンド、他のパートの楽器の音が生々しく録音されています。まるで目の前にギターアンプがあるかの様なサウンドです。これだけ「音が生きている」サウンドは聴く価値がありますね。
また楽曲面においても非常に濃厚な仕上がりです。どこか東洋的なメロディも
あり、ウットリするような甘く切ないほどのメロディもあり、サトリアーニお得意の疾走感のあるメロディも満載です。何度聴いても新しい発見のある素晴らしいアルバムです。ジャケットデザインは正直あまり良いとは思いませんが、中身は非常に素晴らしく、長く付き合って
行ける作品だと思います。聴けば聴く程に味の出るアルバムです。

　2002年作品。
ジャケットを見れば判るだろう。「俺のFanならジャケットで判断しないで買ってくれぃ。」という開き直りである。しかし、もう少しまともな写真無かったのかねぇ？何か意味があるにしても売れ行きに影響するよ？フード付きパーカーとは恐れ入った・・・。

　2000年の「Engine Of Creation」での変化に戸惑ったFanの多くは、2001年の怒涛のLive盤で溜飲を下げたことでしょう。本作、改めてスタジオワークに取り組んだ作品ですが、スタートのオリエンタルな曲調（好きですよね彼、このフレージング）で「おぉ！」と思わせてくれましたが、「Sleep Walk」を演奏しているのに驚かせて戴いた以降の後半が見事！彼にしてみれば普通の出来上がりなのかもしれないですけれど、色々不思議なことを演っているのが楽しかったですね。いつも思いますが華麗なﾌﾟﾚｲは見事だね。聞き流してしまうとキーボードで弾いているのかなぁなんて聴こえている音が、全てギターなんですから恐れ入っちゃいますね。我が国にはこんな巧い人いないと思います。
