大ヒットしたソロ・デビュー作『風のミラクル』に続く二作目のソロ・アルバム。邦題は『あの娘からのポストカード』。後に本人が「テクノロジーに走り過ぎたかもしれない」と発言したりして、彼のキャリアの中では忘れられた存在になってしまった感があるが（実際打ち込みが多用されている）、楽曲的には彼のキャリアの中でも最もポップなアルバムであり、全曲どれをシングル・カットしてもヒットしそうなキャッチーさに溢れている。まるでワム！のようだ。実際このアルバム発表当時の彼は、イギリス本国ではワム！解散後のアイドルの本命として祭り上げられていた（おそらく本人は非常に不本意だったであろうが）。
