新生ANGRAは聴いていましたが、Andreが作っていたShamanについては最近まで知りませんでした。ANGRAがあれだけ良いアルバムを作り、Andreなしでも行けることを証明していたので、こちらはどうかと思いましたが、期待通りの出来。やはりAndreの楽曲センスとハイトーンのVoは最高です。

分裂して出来た二つのバンドですが、仕上がった作品は、結局AngelsCry以来のANGRAそのものだと思います。音作りにしても、楽曲にしても、それほど分裂したものとは思いません。ほんのちょっとのセンスの違い、あるいは製作工程に対する考え方の違いなどが、分裂の原因だったのでしょうか？いずれにせよ、私がANGRAに求めていた音楽性そのものが、二つのバンドで体現されているのですから、２倍楽しめる分、よかったのかもしれません。

細!かく言えば、新生ANGRAはAngelsCryへ、ShamanはHolyLandへと還っているような気がします。FireWorksの荒削りな感じは私にとって今ひとつだったので、かなりイイ感じです。ぜひ、両方聴き比べて欲しいです。

新生ANGRAの「REBIRTH」や「HUNTERS AND PREY」を聞いて、確かに昔のANGRAだと思いつつも、あれ？何かが足りないなと感じた人は、これを聞けば、やっぱり足りないのはこれだったのか！と実感するはず。やっぱりマトスの歌声はしびれます。昔のANGRAファンは、一度これを聞かなければ損をしますよ！
