私は今回のアルバムにはとても満足しています。私は、この人の作品を聴いて1年以上になるのですが新しいアルバムを買うたびに、私はどんどんアンドレギャニオンの魅力に魅せられていきます。

何度聴いてもマンネリ感を感じさせない素晴らしい名曲は、今まで多くの人々に感動を与えてきました。　ピアノというひとつの楽器が、こんなにも人々の心に深く感動を与えてきたアンドレギャニオン氏の素晴らしい想像力には、心を打たれてしまいます。　どんなに苦しくてもどんなに辛くてもこの人の曲を聴くと癒されるのは何故でしょう？

それは、アンドレギャニオン氏の暮らされているカナダの大自然と、その自然を優しい目で見ているアンドレギャニオン氏の純粋な心がこのような素晴らしい名曲をこの世に送り出した最大の理由ではないかと私は思います。
アンドレギャニオン氏の素晴らしい曲を聴いたときの感動は、他のものとは比べ物にならないほど人々の心を感動させてくれます。

今の世の中では、人々の純粋な心が日々失われているような気がしてなりません。　しかしどんなに時代が変わっても、アンドレギャニオン氏の素晴らしい名曲は、これからもファンによって支えられ輝いていくことでしょう。

人生の織り成す光と影を、美しいサウンドで、優しく包んでくれるような、繊細で情緒あふれる旋律、曲目の詩的さと共に情景豊かな音楽表現は言語を超えて感情に伝わるメッセージ。心に響き、不思議な力をもって人々は
癒されるのではないでしょうか。心静かに時を刻むアルバム　　アンドレ･ギャニオンのすべて。

　アンドレ・ギャニオンはいつだったか、ＴＶのテーマソングに使用されていた時にちらっと聞いて以来、その甘いピアノサウンドがネックとなって、いつしか食わず嫌いになってしまったのですが、先頃、このベストアルバムを聞いてみても、その先入観は払しょくされることなく、やはり甘いサウンドであったことを改めて思い知ったものでした。
　Ａ．ギャニオンはカナダの出身であることから、どうしても'寒い’サウンドを連想してしまうのですが、決して寒さを感じさせるものではなく、そのメロディはとても親しみやすく、ロマンチックという言葉に尽きます。また、そのことによって作曲家としても相当な実力者であることはよくわかりますし、そのコンセプトが徹底した叙情的サウンドであることから、多くの人たちから愛され続けていることも十分理解できます。
　しかし、私にとっては、どうしても暗さとか渋みとかのスパイスを振りかけてやりたい気分になったりもするのです。こうなりゃ、もう好みの問題かもしれませんがね。
　たとえば、彼の代表作とも言える、１や７ですが、それらはまさにロマンに溢れる佳曲です。ところが途中から入ってくるストリングスが、言葉は悪いのですが、何となく安っぽく感じてしまうのです。もう少しアレンジを工夫するとか、むしろピアノだけで演奏できなかったかとも思うわけです。あるいは８のように、本格的なオーケストラの中でピアノを奏でるほうが、彼のサウンドは鮮明に活かされるようにも思うのですね。
　そういうこともあって、★のほうは大甘で４つとします。
