映画「ひまわり」の映像を連想させる美しい名嘉睦稔さんの版画。
前作「さきよだ」ですっかり気に入っていたがこれもまた印象的な一枚。
つぐみさんの歌声もより洗練されてきたように感じるし、沖縄の音楽
というのではないけれど、独特の曲調に身体を投げ出して大きく息を
つきたくなる。「さきよだ」は夏の宵に、これは夏の朝に聴きたい。

ｲﾝｽﾊﾟｲｱされて休暇で琵琶湖畔のひまわり畑まで行ってきたほど。
咲き誇るひまわりと吹き抜ける風に夏の盛りを満喫した一日だった。

　私がはじめて『TINGARA』の存在を知ったのが、沖縄を紹介する深夜のテレビ番組でした。そこでちょこっと『太陽の花』のPVが流れて・・・
　☆☆☆~ヒトメぼれ~☆☆☆
　早速、アルバム購入いたしました。
　それからはもう、癒されてます。

　私のオススメは、冬の早朝、昇る朝日を眺めながらの『太陽の花』を聴く事！（朝日はそんな眩しくないので、裸眼で見れます）
　もうね、朝日が江戸川に映えてキラキラ輝き、心身ともに癒される。
　歌詞カードにある版画も味があって、眺めるだけでも自宅美術館的感覚！
