ゲッツとアストラッドの "イパネマの娘” は大好きでよく聴いていたけれど、Bossa Nova 自体にはちっとも興味がなかった数年前、愛嬌のあるナラのモノクロ写真に一目惚れしてジャケ買いしました。すごくわくわくしながら家に帰ってそっこう聴いて、どんよりした１曲目があまりにもわたしがイメージしてたのと違って、最後まで聴かないまま、また失敗か、とがっかりしてそのままほったらかしてありました。

今年になって、たまったCDの整理をしていたら、またあのかわいいジャケットを発見。久々に聴いてみようと思ってリピートでかけっぱなしにしてたら、めちゃくちゃいいじゃん、このアルバム！！！って、聴けば聴くほどどんどん好きになって、今ではナラとわたしを引き離したあの１曲目さえも五つ星です。何だか気分がもやもやしてるときにこれを聴くと、ナラの声と世界にすっかり惹きこまれて、!ゆったりした気分になれるんです。
それからは、Bossa のコンピレーションを買って、ジョアンやアントニオ・カルロス・ジョビン、エリスなどの素晴らしいアーティストたちを知り、すっかり Bossa にはまってます。もうコンピレーションでは飽き足らず、彼らのCDも１枚づつ買い集めているところ。
ナラや Bossa を知らずにこれからこのアルバム買う人は、どうぞ１曲目にめげず、最後まで聴いてみて下さい。これは、ナラのアルバムの中でも Bossa のスタンダードな曲ばかりを歌っていて、気持ちのいい曲ばっかりで、お気に入りの１枚になることまちがいなしです！

BossaNovaのボの字も知らないときに、ボサノヴァのミューズという触れ込み
に惹かれ、これ買っておけば間違いないなと買ったが、この人ちょっとボッサ
界の中でも異端だったみたいですね。歌い方はちょっとフランス的ボッサなの
かな？と個人的には思うけど。それは囁くようなボッサの歌い方の中でも、玉

を転がすように歌うというよりも積み重ねるように歌う（？）感じだからでし
ょうか。
雨の日のドライブ（なんて普通はしないと思いますが）にぴったりです。雨で
テンションが落ちているところにスコンとハマるんですよね。ヘタにガンガン
の音楽で盛り立てるよりも、ナラを聴いてしっとり落ち込みましょう。

ワン・ノート・サンバ、白と黒のポートレイト、イパネマの娘、ジザフィナードなどなど、ボサノバの定番がずらり。それをナラのあのやさしくゆったりした歌声がさらりとやさしく歌っている。　確かにSunny side of Nara Leao のように明るくて楽しい感じはないけれど、音がとてもやさしい感じでリラックスできます。　題名どおりボサノバのミューズなんだなあと感激しました。　これは買っても失敗には絶対ならないボサノバのCDではないでしょうか？
