Captain Funkでつと知られていたタツヤ・オオエのソロアルバム？？とも取れる新作。最近、音楽的刺激が個人的に萎えていたのか、ものすごく感動した。「ロックでもダンスでもない新しい音楽って...？」それは、単なる融合ではなく、このアルバムのようなポップ・センスから壮絶な実験をなせることで達成できるものだって、改めて納得。イイ内容です、痛快なほど「ポップ」な現在がある。ダンスミュージックより最近のコーネリアスに興味がある人。聞くべし。８０’ｓのリバイバルより、まだまだ、先のある未来のほんの入り口に出会える。混迷の９０年代シンドロームに克つ。

前々作「Dancing In The Street」、前作「Songs Of The Siren」とこのアルバム「Here And You」を続けて聴くと、オオエが単なるダンス・ミュージックではなく、90年代のダンス・ミュージック的音楽制作の環境の中からどんな音楽を作っていけるかの壮大な実験をやってる人なんだということが解りました。でも、それって、ある意味で未来の音楽シーンの予言ってこと？オオエってスゲエ！しかも全然実験臭くないのもグー！

ヤバイです。1曲目の「The Glow」。
ミュージックマインのHPにて（www.musicmine.com）、
この曲だけ聴くことが出来たのですが、ヤバイです。かっこ良過ぎ。
シンプルなんだけど、いろんな要素が交差していく、それも曲が進むと共に。
ロックとか、打ち込みとか、を超えたカタルシス。
自分で書いといてなんだけど、レビュー読むより先ず聴く！

イントロからアウトロまで大きな意味でループしていくカレイドスコープ。
早く全曲聴きたいぞ。
