このCDについて

1998年のキューバ訪問で、現地のシーンにショックを受け傾倒。ブエナ・ビスタ・ソシアル・クラブのロベルト・フォンカセが手掛けた『Felicidad!』でデビュー。カバー集である本作はジャズ、ボサノヴァ、ソウル…とさまざまな要素を包み込む歌声が心地よい仕上がり。

神戸出身の女性シンガーの、セカンド・アルバム。前作がキューバ録音だったのに対し、本作は日本録音のJ-POPカヴァー集となっている。ボッサやアフロ・キューバン、ラテンのリズムによるアコースティックな演奏で、名曲たちに新たな表情を与えている。

ふと立ち寄ったお店のｶﾌｪで、流れていました。あまりに心地よいのでｽﾀｯﾌに誰の？なんていうタイトルですか？と聞いてしまいました。とても
癒されましたよ、これからの季節温かい飲み物とこのCDで夜を楽しめそうです。楽曲の良さもありますがこのなんともいえない声を楽しんでみてはいかがですか？オリジナル曲との違いが新鮮です。

昔の名曲から最近のヒット曲まで、どれも時代問わずのいい歌ばかりのカヴァーアルバム！全体的にしっとりと落ち着いた感じに仕上がっていて、聞き入ってるうちに思わず口ずさんでしまいます。馴染み深い歌には懐かしさも感じられますが、歌い手によって歌の雰囲気が変わるので新鮮さも感じられる１枚です。個人的には「LOVE2000」が気に入っていて、hitomiが歌う元気な感じとは違って、少し大人な感じなのもまたいいですよ。

DJ須永辰緒氏のミックステープにオリジナルソング「マラガのひまわり」が収録され、クラブシーンでも話題のAsa-festoon嬢の全曲カバーのアルバム。
収録曲は説明不要の名曲・ヒット曲がズラリですが、いずれも彼女流のJAZZ,BOSSAの解釈で、まったく新しい楽曲に生まれ変わっていて新鮮。
ASAを聴いてみようと思ってる入門者には最適なアルバムです。
これを聴いて気に入った方は是非他のアルバムも聴いてください。彼女のソングライティング・詩の世界はどこまでもポジティブで、唄う歓びにあふれています。
今回はあえて星４つにさせてもらいました。
あとはオリジナルアルバムを聴いて頂いて、あなたなりに星をプラスしてください。
聴かされる音楽はもううんざり。聴きましょうよ、ねえ。
