今まで数多く出てきたこのアルバムのCDでは最高の出来でしょう。
ドラム・ベースの生々しさは鳥肌が立つほどでした。
SACD環境がある方にはおすすめです。

ただ、良く出来ている分マスターテープの劣化もよく感じ取れます。
60年代初期の録音なので仕方ないことでしょうが、そこを-1として4点としました。

LPで持っているんですけど、買いました。
もちろんＳＡＣＤだったからです。ＳＡＣＤの音は一言でいってストレスフリーの音でした。こんな、簡単に音がでていいのだろうか。やっぱりいい音でした。ついつい持っているものも買ってしまいますね。

　20年前に初めて聴いた時から年食った今まで「いつ聴いても楽しめた」と自信を持って言える、奇跡的な傑作です。美しすぎるピアノ、饒舌なベースに、うねるドラム、客の会話やグラスのノイズまで、完璧な音の世界が楽しめます。

　CDになってから同じ曲のテイク違いが続けて入っていますが、こういう無神経な編集は何とかならないものですかね？（ライブで同じ曲を続けないでしょ？）できれば、オリジナルの曲順に、オマケをつけるようにして欲しい。臨場感をより感じるために、US盤SACDなどのように編集されたものを買うことをお勧めします。
