Ｂ級映画にみられがちな映画ですが、とんでもない。
確かにスパイという特殊な仕事でしかも情報量が
多いから一度見ただけではわかりづらい部分も
あるけど、これは本当に大人のドラマ。
理想主義の熱血漢的な役をブラピが、冷徹なベテランスパイをロバレが、新旧二大スターが激しくぶつかり合い、葛藤や苦悩、恋愛、現実と理想、
これは今を生きる私達にも身近なテーマ。
とにかく００７みたいに味方が捕まったら
対戦車ライフル抱えて敵地に乗り込んでくような
非現実的な映画ではなく、クレバーで、かなりリアリティある映画であると思います。
とにかくロバレが素晴らしい、彼が演じた
人を野球のカードのように扱う人間の屑を
彼が演じることで最初から、哀愁を感じてしまうし、ＣＩＡというお堅い組織でみんなダークな
スーツに身をまとっている中、バックスキンのジャケットにグレーのパンツ、ヒールのある靴、まるで異端児でありながら、違和感や嫌悪感を見ているものに与えない、ブラピは繊細な性格をこの映画で理想主義者であるために、米国万歳な社会正義に順応できない青くささを見事に体現している。そして、ロバレが演じたキャラクターが引退の日に彼の人間としての尊厳に応え、全財産をかけてまで彼を窮地から救い出す、ひとつのけじめをつけるお話なのだと思いました。
とにかく全編を通して見ても本物の戦う
男のドラマ。
最高です。「二人は刃の上を駆け抜ける、
強く絆を結び合って」・・
特典も最高。対訳本を買うとより楽しめる。
やっぱり原文にこそ深さが出ている。
小説は微妙だった

冒頭の中国での救出劇から興奮してしまう。過去のスパイ劇、要人狙撃と暗殺、非情な行動を教え込もうとするネイサンと反発してしまうビショップ、それでいて信頼関係を築く師弟関係を見事に体現しうるロバート・レッドフォードとブラッド・ピット。まさに黄金コンビと言えるだろう。

「お前がヘマをしても、私は助けたりはしない。」と言っておきながら、ビショップの窮地を救おうとする姿に心打たれます。しかも、私財を投げ捨ててですから。最後にポルシェに乗って去っていくのも、憎いですね。

最高なのは、ビショップがヘリの中で作戦名を聞いて、誰が自分を救ってくれたかを知る姿。もう滅茶苦茶、感動しました。離れていても心通じ合う男達、こんな映画を待っていたのだ。

正直、超人的なスパイがテロリストと戦うなんていう三流ストーリーを想像してたのですが、全く違いました。

綿密に脚本がつくられたんだろうと推測されるほどストーリーが見事なので派手なシーン（爆発シーンなんて一回だけでしょう）がなくとも、見ている側は緊張しっぱなしでみることができます。

テロリストや他国の組織に潜入したり工作活動をするだけが諜報員の仕事ではなく、時には味方とも虚虚実実のやりとりをして信念に裏打ちされた目的を完遂させなければならない・・・。素晴らしい映画です。
