元来、アクション映画というものは、一度観たものをもう一度観たいとは思わない私ですが、この作品だけは例外です。常に手元に置いて、恋しくなったらいつでも観たいと思う作品です。登場する男たち（おぢさんたち）が、どれも皆かっこよくって、でもどこか愛嬌があって、かわいいのです。（Ｓ・コネリーやＥ・ハリスがいいのは勿論ですが、個人的にコネリーと犬猿の仲のＦＢＩの頑固親父がいい味出していて好きです。）アルカトラズでの最後のシーンはいつ観てもほのぼのします。オチも笑えるし。アクション娯楽と思いきや、意外と和める映画です。

何と言っても、ショーン・コネリーが良い。　渋くてセクシーでカッコイイ。
それと、ニコラス・ケイジ！　この人の演技力はもの凄いです。　ただ立っている時もきちんと演技している。
エド・ハリスも渋いし、そういう素晴らしいキャストを取りそろえた映画が面白くないわけがない。

ストーリー、スピード感、音楽、映像共に素晴らしい、これぞ極上のエンターテイメントだ。
