4.0 out of 5 stars ボブマーリー入門者には完璧な１枚, 2005/2/22
ベストだから当たり前だけど捨て曲が一曲もなくてすごく中身の濃い一枚です、彼の代表曲はもちろん４，５曲目あたりの入ってると嬉しい曲も網羅されています。ボブマーリーをはじめて聞くという人にはまず完璧な一枚でしょう。ただ、彼はオリジナルがすごくいいので出来たらこれでボブマーリーは分かった、ではなくてちゃんとオリジナルのほうも聞いて欲しいです。きっとビートルズを赤版青版で聞いてた人がオリジナルをはじめて聞いた時のような感動があるはずです。またレゲエには楽園的な曲調とは裏腹にシリアスなメッセージを歌ったものが多いですが彼の歌も歌詞を見るとよりいっそう感動すると思います。
ちなみにオリジナルで最初に聞くならcatch a fireがお奨めです。

一度は耳にしたことがある曲が入ってます。初めてレゲエを聞く人にも、抵抗がないと思います。
夜ビールを片手に聞いていると、昼間のイライラが吹き飛びます。２拍子が、心と体をリラックスさせてくれます。

これはミーハーかもしれませんが絶対聞いたらヤバイってなる曲しか入ってません。
初めて耳にすると『ん?』ってなるかもしれませんが、聞いていくとドンドンいい歌に聴こえてきます。
最高のアーティストです。未だに僕の基本です。音もヤバイですが、リリックがヤバイです。
政治問題は今じゃ他人事じゃない現在…聞いて刺激されちゃいましょ★
