   ブライアン・セッツァーはニューヨーク生れ。1980年UKアリスタからストレイ・キャッツでデビュー。パンク・ムーヴメントが一段落したイギリスで、ネオ・ロカビリーの象徴的存在としてスターとなる。その後イギリスのみならずアメリカ、日本でも大きな支持を集めるも、92年バンド解散。
   彼が次に抱いたのは、ロカビリーとビッグ・バンド・スタイルのスウィング・ジャズの融合という、無謀かつバカバカしくも最高にイカす野望だった。スウィングジャズのゴージャスな一面と、ロカビリーのソリッドでワイルドな一面をうまく融和させたこのスタイルで、ブライアンは再び大きな成功を収めた。
   イチロー出演のペプシCMソングも収録された本作は日本独自企画のベスト盤。ニューヨークで生まれ育ったセッツァーの中の「アメリカ」が凝縮されている。最高にゴージャスで楽しい1枚だ。（高山武樹）

ＳＴＲＡＹ　ＣＡＴＳのファンですが、当初はやっぱりオーケストラはあまり好きではなかった。ＳＴＲＡＹ　ＣＡＴＳのワイルドなロカビリーが好きだったからです。しかし、自分も年を取ったのか、だんだんオーケストラの方が聴きやすいと思うようになってきた。ロカビリーを真剣にやっているミュージシャンが少ない中、ぜひがんばって欲しい。「ＳＬＥＥＰＷＡＬＫ」はセッツァーのギターが充分楽しめます。１８曲入ってこのお値段はお買い得でしょう。「ＲＵＭＢＬＥ　ＩＮ　ＢＲＩＧＨＴＯＮ」はほぼ原曲に近く、よりパワーアップしている。

ブライアン・セッツァー・オーケストラにとって、初めてのベストアルバムとなる本作品は、イチローのペプシのCMでもおなじみの「セクシー・セクシー」も収録された、素晴らしい編集によって彩られたアルバムだ。３年間日本独占販売の本作品は、アメリカやイギリスのファンにレア・アイテムとして人気を呼ぶだろう。CDを再生してから、聴き終えるまで、動いていないと聴いていることが出来ないアルバム。超ノリノリ、超グルーヴィーなアルバムを、あなたもいかが？

これから夏になるにつれてなおさら聴きたくなる曲ばかり、
ギターのリフ、リズム感、声、ゴージャスな演奏等々。
全てがかっこよくて楽しい。パーティーでも開きたくなるような曲。
ロマンチックで切なくてでもかっこよくて。
やっぱり聴きやすいしいい事ばっかり。
いままでこのようなロカビリー＋オーケストラに無縁だった人は

一度聴いて見て欲しいですね~。
