強化され、疾走チューンからミドル・チューンまで、美味しく聴かせてくれる。

この作品を最期に脱退してしまった（泣）オリヴァー・ハートマン（Vo）の悲哀に満ちた男らしい深み溢れる低域〜高域を巧みに使いつつもブルージーな節回しもこなす絶品歌唱、名手オラフ・レンクの破綻皆無の超テク・ネオクラ・ギターのトーンが運んでくる心地よさは、キーボードでごまかしがちな他の軟弱メロスピ・バンドとはまるで次元の異なるクオリティ。

疾走曲＃１“The　Time　Has　Come”で幕を開け、キャッチーなミドルテンポ曲＃２“Only　Human”、＃４“Fly　To　The　Rainbow”、クラシックのインスト＃６“Four　Seasons/Spring”、ラストのレインボーのカヴァー“I　Surrender”まで、美味しい楽曲が目白押し。

それでもあまり日本でパッとしなかったのは、あまりに落ち着いた大人な雰囲気を漂わせる楽曲のせいなのか、ルックスのせいなのか･･･。
まあ軸が完全にVoとGrに置かれているために、中・低音主体の楽曲の雰囲気がやや重苦しく、画一的に聴こえてしまうのが原因かもしれない･･･。
それにしても評価が低い･･･。実際のライブではもっとパッション溢れるライブを展開するのだろうか･･･？観てみたいぞ〜！！

現Voのマッツ・レヴィンも素晴らしいと思うが、個人的には楽曲のクオリティも含め、オリヴァー時代の方が好み。
オリヴァー時代に来日して欲しかった･･･（ToT）

しかしこれだけは言える。ネオクラの名盤。

オリヴァー・ハートマンの歌唱力は勿論、ギタリストのオーラフ・レンクの演奏力は聴くものを圧倒させる。
オリヴァー在籍時のアットヴァンスの最高傑作。
ネオクラシカル好きな方には迷わずこれをお薦めします。
