このアルバムを聴いた時、あれっ？これってCHILDREN OF BODOMじゃないの？っと、思うことでしょう。COBのアルバムと言っても誰もが、信じてしまうことでしょう（笑）
COB好きなら、間違いなく気に入ります。
もし、COBよりNORTHERのほうが、先にデビューしてたら…（笑）
Voスタイルは、ブラックボイスですが、COB同様、一般ヘビメタリスナーも
きっと気に入るはず~~~

日本版ボーナストラックとして、EUROPEの《The Final Countdown》と、SKID　ROWの《Youth Gone Wild》を収録！
The Final Countdownをあの声で歌われてもなぁ…(涙）
こーゆーのもアリかなっ？
SKIDは、けっこうカッチョエ~ですよ！

フィンランド出身五人組メロディック・デスメタルBANDの1st。

確かにChidren Of Bodomフォロワーと言えなくは無い。

しかし、Chidren Of Bodomとの大きな違いとしてクラシカルなギターソロや大仰な展開を押さえたストレートな曲調こそがこのBANDの持味なのではないか?と感じた。

Vocalがノーマルボイスであればそのままメロスピファンにも受けそうな作品だと言える。

もう少し曲調に幅が出れば文句無しだと思う。

メロデスファンは迷わず買いましょう!恐らくがっかりする事は無いと思います。

本家Chidren Of Bodomが作品毎にそのスタイルを変えて行き、物足りなく感じている方は是非NORTHERを聴いてみてください。

今後の活動に期待して☆五つ付けました。

フィンランドのメロディックデスメタルバンド、ノーサーの1st。2002作
一聴したところ、さらに聴きやすくしたCHILDREN OF BODOMという雰囲気で
演奏といい曲といいなかなか綺麗にまとまっている。
とくにギターのメロディフレーズはクサメロリスナーにはたまらないメロディアスさで
およそデスメタルには似つかわしくないほどキャッチー。
時折出てくるフォーキーなフレーズもフィンランドらしくて良いが、
キーボードの音がぴこぴこと軽かったり、全体的にメロデスの暴虐性よりは
普通の北欧メロディックメタルを目指しているようにも聴けてしまう。
EUROPEの名曲「FINAL COUNTDOWN」のデス声カヴァーがなかなかカッコいい。
