本作は2004年9月にニューヨークのバブルコアレコードより全米発売されることとなった日本盤である。
2002年以降の日本のエレクトロニカ/フォークトロニカ/ポストロック作品の先駆け的アルバムとなった本作品は、ニューヨークの先駆ポップミュージシャン『アダム・ピアース』を驚愕させたモダン・ミュージック。
現代のニューウェイヴ・ドリームポップ＆ロック/ラップトップ・ローファイ/ノンロジカルミュージック。また、日本での『都市のフォークロア』なる一時期のリトルウェイヴを泳ぎ、コアなスロミニ・チャイルズ達を産み出す迄に至りカルト的な人気を得ることにもなった。
そして、ラヴリートロニカの最も先駆けであった本作はリリース年度が示すように、確実に日本でのフォロワーミュージシャンや良く似た作品を産んだ。その事実は広く知られるべきある。
一つの仕事を終えた本人は、The Lopopsなる新種のギターポップ・プロジェクトを開始するなど、その先駆性や革新性、また表現スピリットはとどまることを知らない。
