サッカー日本代表チームが初のＷ杯出場を決めた、あのイラン代表チームとの第三代表決定戦。野人・岡野雅行の劇的なＶゴールに至るまでの日本代表チームの歴史、歩み、全１２５ゴールを収録。歴代の名選手達のインタビュー映像を交えつつ、かつては遠く遥かなものだったＷ杯予選での激闘を振り返る。川淵三郎、長沼義和、釜本邦茂などのオールドスターから、木村和司、水沼貴史などの元Ｊリーガー、そして今をときめく中田英寿らのスーパーゴール。とにかく歴代日本代表選手のゴール＆インタビューを見たい方にお薦めです。川淵三郎の涙、ラモス瑠偉の無念、そして岡野雅行のイラン戦での秘話など、ドラマ性も十分の作品です。特に木村和司の韓国戦でのフリーキックは何度見ても胸が震えます。
