今年2004年はジェリー自身のシグネチャーギターも発売されジャパンツアーも大成功だったようだ。高校生の僕でも聞き入ってしまうこのソロCDですがやっぱり凄腕のテクニックは健在！！全曲テレキャスター使用とのことですが音も曲によくあっていますね。絶対買って損はないこの1枚。続編を期待せずにはいられません。

ジェリー・マギー待望のアルバムです。ジェリー・マギーといえばベンチャーズのリードギタリストとして有名ですが、ソロアルバムではブルースやカントリーなど卓越した演奏を聴かせてくれます。私自身、前２作「Friends From A Distance」「Born In Louisiana」の延長線上の作品かと期待しておりましたが、良い意味で裏切られました。「マイ・ギター・メモリーズ」というタイトルからも分かるように、このＣＤからジェリー・マギーの歴史が感じられるのです。ブルース・カントリーにとらわれず、幅広く選曲されています。ぜひ聴いてジェリーの歴史を感じてください。もうどれくらい前になるのだろうか、雨の日比谷野音（ジャパンブルースカーニバル）でのジェリーの姿が懐かしく思えます。このＣＤ発売を機会に、ぜひソロでの公演を期待したいと思います

5.0 out of 5 stars 「Ｇｅｒｒｙ　ＭｃＧｅｅ」最高！！, 2002/5/23
　ベンチャーズのリードギーターで有名な「ジェリー・マギー」のベストアルバム。ベンチャーズとは違う、ジェリーマギーのサウンドが楽しめます。今回は彼愛用の「ストラトキャスター」ではなく「テレキャスター」が使われているのも特徴です。暖かみのあるテレキャスの音、「エルヴィス・プレスリー」や「モンキーズ」など彼が今までセッションしたアーティストの曲が収録されています。曲風もトラディショナルのカントリーやブルースでありながら、ジェリーらしいアレンジに仕上がっています。もう買って損はないでしょう。
