カバーアルバム『和音 ~songs for children』から、原田知世さんをフィーチャーして好評だった「夢で逢えたら」をリカットした作品です。

アルバムレコーディング時から「これ、シングル切りましょう！」とvo.池森さんが大騒ぎしてた曲らしく、念願かなっての（？）シングルカットとなりました。しかしこの曲を一度聴いてみれば、彼の熱の上げようも納得がいくというもの。

まるでスピーカーからマイナスイオンが溢れるよう。原田知世・DEEN池森、２人の癒し系ヴォーカルのランデブーはただただ極上の一言です。…さらに『和音』で未収録だった名曲カバー「the end of the world」と、「夢で逢えたら」のニューアレンジ（afternoon cafe style）も収録されてるイイモノづくしのお得盤になっています。

「夢で逢えたら」という歌を知っている人は多いと思います。良い曲です。更にそれを独特にアレンジしています。
雰囲気としては癒しというか、まさに眠りに落ちていくような感じですね。不思議な雰囲気です。

ちなみに「for　female」とは女性向け、つまり女性パートだけカラオケになっていて、池森さんとデュエット気分？「for　male」は逆に男性パートのみカラオケで、原田さんとデュエット。
「for　lovers」は両方がカラオケになっているバージョンです。
「聴く」ことよりも「一緒に歌う」ことを目的にしているといったところでしょうか。

あと「the　end　of　the　world」は原田さんonlyなので注意。
歌いたい人にお勧めです。
