カウチとは、心理家カウンセルを受けるクライアントが横たわるためのソファベットのこと。
ロマンチックコメディです。
ビノッシュ扮するパリジェンヌと、ウィリアムハート扮するN.Y.の著名精神分析医がそれぞれのアパートメントを休暇のために交換するところからストーリーは始まるのだが、お互いの提供した住処の格差が面白い。
自由奔放なビノッシュの許には、毎日精神分析医の休暇を無視してカウンセリングを受けに来るクライアントが絶えない。しかもクライアントたちは満足そうに帰って行くわ、アパートの草木はジャングルのように伸びるわ、以前は寝てばかりいた犬は生き生きと、リードなしで新しい(？)飼い主の跡をつけて散歩する。。。それを知った分析医は。。。。あとは見てのお楽しみです。
個人的にあまり、こういうこてこてのロマンチックコメディは見ないたちなんですが、犬とビノッシュが可愛かったーーとくに犬はたまらなく可愛いーーので、よしとしましょう。
