今回の購入に際しては、ＣＸの“桑田佳祐の音楽寅さん”で、“かもめ”を聞いたことでした。小学５・６年性の頃、私の父が好きで買ってきた淺川マキのレコード。　僕にとっては、その内容を理解するのには、時間が掛かったけど、どのメロディーや歌詞も、一発で強烈に人を惹き付け、そして強い印象を残す淺川マキの世界。　子供には到底分からない、６０年代の大きなムーブメントの中で、寺山修司と淺川マキによって織り成されるデカダンス溢れる“男と女の世界”が描かれていて、単純に暗い音楽などという表現は、全く当てはまらない、むしろ情熱の迸りを感じる、あまりに鮮烈な“芸術”であると再認識した。
