　当時は男女デュオのグループであった、日本のロック・デュオの’８７年発表作。
　後の代表作に通じる、欧州民謡的なメルヘンティックで神秘的なメロディは、本作でも十分に表れており、独特の世界を形成している。
　けれども、作品全体、また、楽曲単位で見ていくと、劇的と言うより大胆、若しくは強引な展開という印象も否めず、少々荒削りな感じがするのだが、それがまた本作の魅力となっている。
　それは誤解を恐れずに言えば、初々しいと言うより挑戦的と言えよう。現在は勿論、本作発表当時でも、この唯一無二の作風は、売上げ至上主義の邦楽界において、一石を投じた内容であったであろうからだ。
　日本からこういうグループが現れ、形こそ変われど現在も活動中である事は、とても意義深いことと思う。
