　この一曲だけでもこのCDを持っていたいと思う。それ程の名曲だ。
　元々はアイルランドの民謡で、テイラーは実に繊細かつ優美にアレンジしている。メロディー自体がとても優しいのだけれども、ギターの伴奏が和声豊かに踊るため非常に感動的な空間を作り出している。JTならではだ。

　10年前に初めて聞いた時いたく感動した。その後中川イサトのコピー譜を参考に弾き語りを始めた。とてもいいのだが、何かしっくりこなかった。そして、JTの楽譜をNYで見つけて自分なりにアレンジして、ようやくJTの感じが出せるようになった。ここにはシンプルながら感性豊かに流れる美しい音たちがある。体調の悪い時はうまく歌えない。

　最近は古内東子さんも時々歌っているのが僕には嬉しい。
