「詩人の血」解散後,渡辺善太郎と辻睦詞が組んだ新ユニット。ジャズぽいグルーヴの心地よさとロマンティックなソフトロックの融合みたいな音も,すっきりしたギータサウンドもいい。個人的には「詩人の血」は積極的に聴かなかったけど,これは好き。

彼らの唯一のフルアルバムは「Milk&Cookies」で、そちらはリリースしてすぐ彼らが解散したため、プレミアがついていて、入手しにくい一枚であるが、この最初のミニアルバムは、かなり出回っていて、手に入れやすい。だからといって、作品のクオリティが低いのかというと、全くそんなことはなく、詩人の血のサウンドをさらに、濃縮し職人的な素晴らしいポップスが聴ける。彼らの音は、渋谷系とも通じるものがあるとは思うが、そこにピュアな心を込めた辻睦司さんの歌声が乗ることで、渋谷系にはない７０年代シンガーソングライター的な味わいをプラスしている。そこのところが、バブリーだった当時の音楽業界では、評価されにくかったのかもしれないが、今聴くと、それは多くの渋谷系フォロワーとは違い、独自の音楽観を持っていたことが分かる。つまり芯がしっかりしている。
