そろそろ入手困難になって来ているのでしょうか、このアルバム。しかし、これだけは絶対押さえておいていただきたいアルバムです。アルバム全体としての「完成度」というものが、いかにパワーを持つものか教えてくれる作品です。ボニー・タイラーがプロデューサーのジム・スタインマンと出会う記念碑的作品。当初ボニーはこのアルバムのプロデュースをフィル・コリンズに依頼するつもりだったらしい。しかしあいにく忙しいフィルには依頼することが出来ず、NYでジム・スタインマンに出会う事になるのだが、「最初にジムがピアノで『愛のかげり』を弾いて聴かせてくれた時は床がぬけると思うぐらい凄かったわ」とボニーが語っている。本当に魔力を持ったパワフルなアルバムです！！
