ラストには本当に驚かされました。

なぜ殺人現場の時計はとまっていたのか？
被害者の過去とは？
そして数年前に起こった「アームストロング幼女誘拐事件」とは？

数々の謎が絡み合い、あれよあれよという間に明かされる結末。
シドニー・ルメットの手腕が光るポワロ映画の傑作です。

エルキュール・ポワロの小説の数々は映画化されていますが、ほとんどはクリスティ自身気に入らないものだったそうです。
しかし、この映画は満足したそうな。

ドラマ「古畑任三郎」で言っていましたが、
「頼りにならないものは、殺人現場のとまった時計」だそう。
いったい犯人は誰でしょう？というより、この中に犯人がいる？
