ＴＶアニメ「魔装機神サイバスター」（1999年）のオープニングテーマ。
正直、アニメはとことん面白くなかったので途中で見るのをやめました。
しかし、作品の醜悪さと反比例するかのごとく、このＯＰ曲は最高の出来でした。
歌うは「ガオガイガーＯＰ曲」でそのハイテンションで力強いヴォーカルを聴かせてくれた遠藤正明氏。
「戦士よ、起ち上がれ！」は「勇者王誕生！」とは違い、どちらかというとミディアムテンポで雄々しく歌い上げる曲。
歌詞にはサイバスターのサの字も出てこないが、オーソドックスなスパロボソングにふさわしい内容。
隠れた名曲です。

ある動画がきっかけで、最近になってこの歌を知ったのですが、物凄くハマってしまいました！
遠藤さんの歌といえばどちらかというとノリノリなイメージが強いんですが、この｢戦士よ、立ち上がれ！｣は重厚のある勇ましい歌に仕上がっています。
今から９年前に発売されたものなので入手困難なＳＣＤですが、是非ともお勧めしたいです！
