「ファミリーコンピュータ」
この商品の誕生で確実に世の中が変わったと言っても異論のある方は少ないでしょう。
１９８３年に誕生して１０００作以上の作品がリリースされた「ファミコン」。
誰にでも１つやふたつの思い出のゲームがあることと思います。

この「ニューファミコン」は「ＡＶファミコン」と呼ばれることもあるのですが、ここからもわかるようにオーディオ、ビジュアル機能が初代と異なっています。
ハード的にスペックアップしているというわけではなく、初代ファミコンでわずらわしかったテレビへの接続（ＲＦボックス）から、現在主流のビデオ端子への簡単接続に変更されました。

スーパーファミコンやニンテンドウ６４のケーブルと共用できるのもいいところです。

今は、ネット上のサイトなどでもレトロゲームが比較的簡単に入手できますし、ＷＥＢサイトやメールマガジンでいろいろな情報交換ができます。
新作ソフトを１本買う値段で思い出のハードを入手できます。

ＲＯＭカートリッジなので、電源を入れたらすぐプレイ可能に。
これを持っていたら、「ちょっと１０分だけあのゲームをやろうかな」とか、そんな気軽なゲームライフが帰ってきます。

ただ、マイク機能が削除されています。
『バンゲリングベイ』や『たけしの挑戦状』をプレイする際には要注意です。

なぜ、今でも任天堂がゲーム業界で一線で
活躍できるか。

それは、今でも生産されてるこの機体に
全てが集約されてると思います。

２つのコントローラがはじめから付属されて
いるのが、なぜなのかを、最近のゲーム機は
忘れてしまっているのではないでしょうか？

押し入れにあったファミコンソフトをする為に購入しました。まさか２０年を経て新品の「ファミりーコンピュータ」が買えるとは思いませんでした。買うとも思ってませんでしたが・・。

パッケージを開いて驚きました。なんという素朴さ、なんという軽さなのでしょう。ＰＳ２とは比べ物になりません。まるでおもちゃです。

ゲームをプレイ（任天堂ゴルフ／テニス等々）して、その画面の粗さ、効果音の情けなさにまた驚きです。でも最近の美麗なＣＧとか複雑な操作に疲れた体には、何故かとてもやさしい気がします。

最新のゲームの合間にプレイしてみてはいかがでしょうか？
ストレス発散と同時に、”遊び”についての大切な何かが見えてくる気がします。
