この間初めてプレイし、30歳過ぎにして非常に感動させられ涙しました。
このストーリーは歳を重ねた人ほど深く心に沁みるのではないかと思います。

最後まで解かれない疑問があったり、アイテムや魔法のバランスの悪さ、ダンジョンの難解さ
など、すべてにおいては完璧ではないかもしれませんが、音楽や映像、特にストーリーの良さ
がそれを補って余りあります。
一度クリアしたあとにデモ映像をあらためて見ると、デモ映像の秀逸さが良くわかります。

人間って何。その答えのひとつがこのゲームの中にあるような気がします。
子供の代まで伝えたい作品です。

「天地創造」という神話的モチーフをもとに、機械文明への疑問、喜びに伴う哀しみ、
人間の欲望、業の深さなど、哲学的なテーマが語られます。
主人公のアークは、いわば「神」と呼ばれうる存在として、
世界を誕生させ、動植物を復活させ、そして、文明の発展を助け、人類を導きます。
しかし、その間に、自然から離れることにより、動植物との会話ができなくなったり、
文明の発達が引き起こす、悲劇を目の当たりにしたりします。
そして、自分のやってきたことに対して、疑問を抱きはじめます。

アクションRPGとしても、操作性が良く、良作の部類に間違いなく入ると思いますが、
難易度は若干高めです。
ダンジョンの謎解きの難解さや、一部ボスの凶悪さ、
そして、ヒントが少なく、シナリオを進める上で、迷いがちになることが多いのです。

しかし、それらの否定的な要素を補ってもあまりあるほどの感動を、
ラストに与えてくれます。
それは、バッドエンドとも、ハッピーエンドとも呼びがたいものです。
しかし、永遠の時間、無限の流転のなかにおいては、
新たな希望を抱かせてくれるものであると思います。
また、美しい音楽は、胸に染み入り、いつまでも心に残るものであり、
ドット絵の美しさも、SFC末期の作品であるだけに、相応のものです。

詳しくは語れませんが、最後まで、諦めずにプレイすることをお奨めします。
貴方（貴女）の心に残る作品となることは、否定しようがありません。

とある日、友人と昔のゲームの話しをしていたら、その友人に「天地創造」を進められ、やってみることにしました。

ちなみに自分はどんぴしゃでスーファミ世代でした。中でも「クロノトリガー」が好きでしたが、今はこの「天地創造」が間違いなく一番です。
自分が小学生の頃にこんなソフトがあったなんて本当に驚きました。
書き表せない感動がこの「天地創造」にはあります。

機会があったら是非みなさんもやってみてください。
