here to stay、thoughtlessがシングルになっているが、私はそれ以外の曲の方が好きだ。Make Bellieve,blame,hollow lifeの流れは非常に良いと思う。今までのKORNが駄目だった人でも聴けるかもしれない。
KORNの作品の中では（follow the leader以上に）問題作にはなったが、KORNとしてではなく超重くてシンフォニックなバンドの作品として見れば、非常に優れた作品だと思う。hating、alone i breakなどジョナサンらしさはしっかり残ってるし、ギターのアレンジ（特にMake Bellieve）は芸術である。
ただ、1st、2ndのサウンド、もしくはリンプなどのバンドからKORNに入った人には薦めない。

ＫＯＲＮの過去の経緯を考えた場合、常に「進化」という言葉を考える。
音楽的、内面的。
この作品でその経緯の結果が示されているとしたら、
これは「進化」と呼ばれるものなのかもしれない。

この作品は、へヴィーだ。しかし、この手触りの良さは何だろう？
マニアックな程に作り込まれた音に、恐らくファンは驚くはずだ。

Ｖｏ．の声の変質、全体の発するオーラ、全てが過去の作品とは
一線を引いた位置にある。
荒さ、のような激しさは無いが、確かにここに、「激しさ」が存在する。
作り込まれた作品特有の手触りの良さと共に、何故か共存する
激しさを、ファンは聞いておくべきだと思う。

ＫＯＲＮの５ＴＨにして過去最高に作風を変化させてきた作品。
常に実験的、挑戦的な音楽的アプローチを試みている彼等だが
過去の作品と比べられ中々正当な評価を得られていない。
この５ＴＨも往年のＫＯＲＮファンからはあまり支持されない
だろうが、音楽的に非常に優れていると思わせられる。
プロデューサーも変え、浮遊感のある楽曲群の中を今までより
ずっと「歌手」しているジョナサンが歌い上げている。
このころすでに超大物と化しているＫＯＲＮだけに、失った
うらみつらみなどで誤魔化しのきくレベルにはいるわけはなく
元々卓越している音楽性の発展が顕著に表れた本作は
聴き応え十分な良作だと思う。
