この島谷という歌手、「亜麻色の髪・・・（ウクレレ）」「元気を出して」それぞれのマキシを聴いたが、なかなかよろしい。厳しい評価のご仁もおられるようだが、それはアレンジやこの歌手の歌い方によるものという気がします。というのは、このアレンジ、歌い方、確かになごませるもの、完全な歌唱テクニックを目指していない。うるさく聞こえる人もいるでしょう。しかし、画一的な最近の曲の中にあって、私にはどれも大変新鮮に聴こえる。この歌手を聴くときは、なごみなんて期待してない。元気さ、溌剌さ、そしてなぜか特徴的な声、なぜなんだろう、適度に甘さが感じられるが、基本的には背筋を伸ばした感じがする。達郎も島谷の「元気を出して」はなかなか若い人っぽいアレンジでいいですねとラジオ! 言っておられた（お世辞というか、励ましを含んでいることは確かだが）。私も同意見である。この亜麻色も中古屋で買って聴いてみたが、なかなか元気のいい、聴き心地のよいロックに仕上がっている。この島谷という歌手、ルックスはみたことないが、テレビには出ない人なのでしょうかね？

私の唯一の反発はコピー防止CDになっていることで、これは普段聴くクラシックやジャズではみたことないので、何だこれ？と思った、でもこうしたこさかしい、低級なソフト技術は止めるべきである。逆に反感を抱かれて、コピーしてください、といっているようなものだ。現に、某A社のパソコンでは再生できない、などというふざけたことをするから、アップルのスティーブジョブズを怒らせてしまったではないか。要らんことをするか! 、A社のパソコンでは、現在再生だけでなく、この島谷の全CDのCD-Rも作れるようになっている。コピーして個人利用以外はしないようにしましょう、とどこかに書いておけばそれでよいのだ

ＣＭで聴いて、とても印象に残ったけど、どこか懐かしいような・・・。
随分前に男性グループが歌っていた歌なんですね。
彼女が歌うことで、今風にとても綺麗な曲になっていると思います。
買ってよかったなぁ、と思います(^_^)

ヴィレッジ・シンガースの歌を今度は島谷ひとみが歌ったもの。
もともとの穏やかさはほとんど無いが、
島谷ひとみとバックの演奏がなかなかマッチして、リズムはなかなか良い。
曲にのるのが好きな人にはいい曲ではないだろうか。
