　世界中でカバーされているタイトル曲から始まるこのアルバムは、間違いなく７０年代ロックの屈指の名盤である。スコットランド人の誇りを胸に濁声で熱唱するシンガーのダン・マカファティは聞く者に感動と興奮を与える。ダン・マカファティ、ロッド・スチュワート、ブライアン・ジョンソンと言った、ロック史に名を残すスーパー・ヴォーカリストがスコットランドの血をひいているのは何かの偶然だろうか。
　今でこそ日本でもリマスター盤が発売されているとは言え、実力の割に圧倒的に低いバンドである。音楽性が年代によって変わりすぎることを差し引いても、その評価は不当としか言いようの無い。この機会に再評価の声が高まることを願いつつ、今日も彼らに酔いしれる。

かなり癖の強いＶｏｃ．なので、好き嫌いがあると思います~。
（でも、確かにガンズがカバーしただけあり、アクセルに似てるかも！）
へヴィなハードロックなんですが、曲がなかなかみんな聞き応えあり。
若かりしころはもちろんなのですが、今聞いてもいいねえ~と納得できるよくできた曲ばかりのＡＬＢＵＭです。
