奇跡の再生から、新たな作品がここに届けられた！
来日記念盤の本作だが、新曲の1,3,4、Acoustic Verの5,6、GENESISのｶﾊﾞｰの7など、魅力がいっぱいだ！

まず、エドゥについて、改めて書かせて頂く。彼は、本当に素晴らしいVoだ！
引く所では優しく包み込むように、出す所では太くそして高く、変幻自在の歌唱力を持っている。

アンドレ・マトスも良いVoだったが、エドゥはそれ以上なのかもしれない。
彼の存在はANGRAに加入するまで知らなかったが、よくこんなに素晴らしいVoを見つけてきたものだ！と、本当に心から思う。
また、彼はANGRAに新しい化学反応をさせてばかりでなく、
形成された新しい遺伝子に、また更なる進化を遂げようとしている。

彼の声を、６月のライブで体感することに、私は震えて止まない。

さて、曲の方だが、新曲は彼らの根源である”ブラジルの血”が色濃く出ている。
方向性は、アルバム"REBIRTH"とは異なるが、良い作品だと言える。
そして、何と言っても、「REBIRTH」と「HEROES OF SAND」のAcoustic Verだ！
このVerが原曲であるかのような、そんな感じを受けるのだが、

アルバム"REBIRTH"に収録されているVerと比較しても、
より奥が深く、そして素晴らしい曲だというのを、耳と身体で体感した。
エドゥの素晴らしいVoが、特にこの２曲に収められている。
アレンジ面での勝利という点もあるが、本当に素晴らしい歌唱力の持ち主だ！
この曲を聴いて、涙せよ！！

本編８曲の他に、ファンには嬉しい特典が満載である！

ファストナンバーの「live and learn」、そしてタイトルナンバーの「hunters and preys」、この２曲はAngraのコンセプトを集約した曲である。メタルサウンド、シンフォニーサウンドに彼らの祖国ブラジルのラテンリズムが絡み合い、すばらしい仕上がりになっている。
また個人的には、ギタープレイがさらに凄みを増していることがうれしく思う。「live and learn」のソロは今までのアルバムの中でも１，２を争うほどの壮絶ぶりだと思う。今更ながらいうことでもないが、キコ、ラファエルはすばらしいギタリストであると思う。
また新加入のメンバーもすばらしいパフォーマンスをみせてくれており、Angraの充実振りがうかがえる。これからの彼らの活動にますます目が離せない！

「リバース」とはまた違う一面が封じ込められたミニアルバムである。
多彩な楽曲にアルバムとは違う満足感が感じられる。
１曲目の疾走感と脅威のギタープレイに圧倒され、
２曲目のバラードの美しさに酔いしれ、
３曲目のブラジリアンリズムに心地よさを感じ、
４曲目のオーソドックスなパワーポップに新鮮さが見られ、
７＆８曲目にミニアルバムならではの遊び心があり、
アングラらしさに触れられる濃い内容になっている。

しかしこのアルバムの目玉は、５＆６曲目のアコスティックバージョン
に他ならない。エドゥの優しい歌い方が本当にすばらしい。
どちらのアレンジもアコスティックらしくソフトになっているが
原曲に比べて劣ってるとか、そういう次元ではない。
ただただ、曲のすばらしさとエドゥの歌唱力にひれ伏される。
どちらも名曲なのが理解できる。
