傑作、快作、異色作を生み出している「アニメコンプレックス」シリーズの最新作「りぜるまいん」の主題歌。ヒロインの「りぜる」を演じている釘宮理恵が歌っている。「鋼鉄天使くるみ」や「Ｄ４プリンセス」の主題歌も相当に強烈というか奇天烈な歌詞だったが、本作もそれに勝るとも劣らないできばえ。「しましょ、しましょ」のリフレインが頭から離れない。

　歳がバレますが「はじめて・しましょ！」を最初に聴いたとき、私は「ラムのラブソング」を思い出しました。解釈のしかたによっては少々危ない歌詞ですが、本編（第１期）を見るとそうでもないことがよくわかります。一方、「ほんきパワーのだっしゅ！」は主人公「りぜる」の「友紀」に対する想いをストレートに表現した（というより強引さを感じさせる！？）曲です。

　音質はこれなら及第という感じです。暗めではありますが、各音域のバランスは比較的いいようで、最近流行らしいダイナミックレンジ（音の強弱の差）の極端な圧縮がなく、ボーカルの荒れもないので聴きやすいです。

　余談ですが、本編第２期の最終回は泣けますよ。第２期のエンディングはいい曲ですが、単体発売されないのが残念です。（ただし、これは冗談抜きで歌詞が危ない）

テレビアニメ「りぜるまいん」の主題歌です。
きっちりと2-3のクラーベを打ちながら軽快なラテンポップスが展開されています。同意見多数だとは思いますが、『ラムのラブソング』によく似てはいるものの、時代が『サルサ以後』で、ラテンリズムをより使いこなしているだけに、その分こちらの出来が上回っているかも知れません。

昨年のアニソンの中では私好みナンバーワンとなりましたが、これは私のラテン音楽好きという面もかなり含まれています。
カップリングの『ほんきパワーのだっしゅ！』はブラスロック。いかにも佐橋俊彦さんらしいオーケストレーションの巧さが魅力です。
