この、ゴーバンズも早すぎたバンド。
とってもキャッチーなメロディーにキュートなボイス、かなり元気になれます。
ゴーバンズも、良い曲が多いので誰か若手がカバーするとヒットすると思うんだけどなー。
今でも十分楽しめますよ。

　バンド・ブームの頃に音楽を聴いていた人間にとって GO-BANG’S のイメージとは一体どんなものであろうか。おそらくは、森若嬢の良くも悪くも個性的な歌声だけが記憶に残る、一歩間違えればコミックバンドに分類されかねない、そういったところではないだろうか。

　その評価は、いくつかの例外的な曲を除いては、的を得ているといえるだろう。今回のベスト・アルバムに入っている曲も、そのほとんどが個性的なボーカルがうまく消化し切れていないみょうちくりんなポップスといった感が強いように思われる。

　しかし、私は言いたい。彼女たちの本領はこういったポップスにあるのではなく、意外に思うかもしれないがバラードにあるのだということを。
　あの当時かなり日本のバンドを聞いていた人でも、GO-BANG’S のバラードといわれて、首を傾げる人も多いに違いない。しかし、「スペシャル・ボーイフレンド」や「BYE-BYE-BYE」などは、今聴いても涙が止まらなくなる、バラードの中のバラードである。

　GO-BANG’S を知っている人も知らない人も、彼女たちのバラードを聴いたことがないならば、ぜひ一度聴いてみてほしい。そして、このGO-BANG’S でバラードとは何かを再確認してもらいたい。

素晴らしきデラックスが入っていなかった事だけが悔やまれます。
それ以外では有名な曲も多く、買って損だとは思いませんでした。
スペシャルボーイフレンドはかなり好きです。
