4.0 out of 5 stars シュバンクマイエル監督の原点, 2002/12/22
全編通して芸術性が高いため、興味の無い方にとっては少々見づらいかも。しかし、ヤン・シュバンクマイエル監督のファンであるならば必見です。「人間の脳って、こんな事まで思い付くのか！」って感じ。特に主題の『ドン・ファン』は、後の『ファウスト』の前身となる作品。その破壊的な芸術性はここが原点だったのか！と。

特に、最後のドン・ファンは最高に面白かったです。
ユーモア満載という感じでした。
しかし、他の作品もよかったのですが、
もっとクレイが入っているのを見たかった気もします。
でも、やっぱりドン・ファンは最高です！！

シュルレアリスムの芸術性を「すっごく分かっておもしろい！」と感じることは、ごく普通の感覚の私には難しい。エンターテイメント性みたいなものは、低い気がする。
正直、最後まで見ることができないようなつまらない短編もある。とにかく、筋のわけが分からないので、映像や芸術などに興味がある人でないと、なかなか能動的に見ることができないかもしれない。

しかし、シュバンクマイエルの作品には、物語の表面上におもしろさを散りばめた普通のエンターテイメント作品には起こることの無い、人間の心の奥底を揺さぶるような、深い興味がわく。
私のお気に入りは「棺の家」。ハツカネズミを取り合って木の人形２体が激しくやりあう様子は最初コミカルだ。しかし最後の方になると殺し合いじみてきて、棺に相手の人形を閉じ込めて釘を打ち込む人形の姿が、かなりショッキングなかたちで描写されている。
たかがつくりものの人形の話だけれど、シュバンクマイエルの人形はぞっとするほど生気があって、私たちの奥底の原始的な、というか非理性的な感情に直に訴えかけてくると感じる。
だからだろうか。
映像の前で固まって、見入ってしまう。そういう意味で、おもしろい作品かもしれない。
