リマスターされているだけに音質はかなり良いです。各アルバムともに05年にリマスター盤が再発していますがそれと比べてとくに変りはないので、新たに全部集める人はこちらの方が良いと思います。

リマスター音源でBOOWYを聞きなおすと、「この曲こんなカッコよかったっけ？」ってことがよくあります。昔の音源に比べ音がクリアーになって、特にベース音が聞きとりやすくなっているせいかビート感が強く感じられます。

このBOXの良いところは廃盤になっている『SINGLES』が収録されているところ。「BAD FEELING」「MARIONETTE」「季節が君だけを変える」のSINGLE VERSIONはこのアルバムでしか聞けないので、それがリマスターされているだけでも個人的には満足でした。

これでさらに未発表曲や未発表ライブバージョンでももう一枚ついてれば完璧なんですが。でも☆5をつけてしまいます。

これを買おうと思った時点でかなり「好き」な人だと思いますが、昔からのファンならオリジナルのアルバムや、かつて発売された白箱、黒箱をすでに持っていることでしょう。
ＢＯＯＷＹマニア向けというよりも、『ＴＨＩＳ　ＢＯＯＷＹ』から入って、一気に全曲知りたいＢＯＯＷＹ初心者におすすめなのではないかと思います。

かつての白箱、黒箱は、ブックレットからページがぽろぽろ落ちてきたり、やたら指紋の痕がついたりしましたが、今回のはそれほどでもありません。
デジタルリマスタリングってのもメリットですが、１０年前のボックスがそろそろボロボロになってる人の買い換えようにもいいんではないでしょうか。

再発となったコンプリート。
ファーストからラストの"LAST GIGS"9枚すべて、それと"MORAL+3"に入っている"OUT!"などの未発表曲３つを含む特典CD1枚。
これだけ持っていれば何も問題ないです。
BOOWY自身が「流動的」、ライブ中心に活動していて、録音をあまり残さないタイプのバンド（昔はそれが当たり前だった）だったのでこれ以上のコンプリート、
完全形は残せないと思います。
だからこのコンプリートボックスをベースにBOOWYというバンドの演奏に想いを巡らせる。
それが各自にとっての「伝説のバンド」であり、「原点」になると思います。
