　小学生のときから大好きだった枝雀。カセットやラジオに耳をつけるようにして聞いていた当時、初めてＴＶで見た演目が「鷺とり」だった。予想はしていたが、激しい動きにやはりびっくりした。空を飛ぶシーンなど、本当にこちらも一緒に飛んでいるような気分にさせてくれた。

　雀が酒かすに酔っ払い「ちゅちゅんちゅんちゅん」と鳴いていたのが「ぢゅぢゅんぢゅんぢゅん」になり、最後に落花生を撒くと、それを枕にグー・・・とやるときの畳み掛けるようなリズム、「さーぎーィ」と偽遠近音法（？）を使う時の声色と顔つきと間、この演目を本当に十八番にしていたんだな、と見る人みなが納得できると思う。涙が出るほど可笑しかった。
　ＤＶＤで再び私達の前に鮮明に蘇る枝雀師匠。もう永久に変わら!ないその演技に、今は笑いと一緒にどうしても泣きそうになってしまう。

「くしゃみ講釈」と「鷺とり」が収録されている。

どちらも爆笑モノで枝雀師匠の世界を満喫できます。

「くしゃみ講釈」の物覚えの悪い愛すべきアホを演じさせると
枝雀師匠の右に出る者はいないでしょう。

「鷺とり」に登場する愛すべきアホも最高。
この「鷺とり」を演じているときに観客がくしゃみをする。
そのハプニングまで咄嗟に
自分の落語の中に入れて笑いを取る姿を観て、
生で観た枝雀師匠の落語会のすごさを思い出した。
まるでフリージャズのように
同じネタでも笑うところがころころ変わる。
もちろんすべて爆笑させてもらった。

DVDには枝雀師匠との思い出を語る
枝雀散歩道のコーナーが収録されている。

この第二集には弟弟子のざこばが枝雀師匠を語っている。
その話がとてもいい。
話の最後でざこばの目に涙が浮かんでいるのだが、
ホントに枝雀にいちゃんが好きだったんだなぁと思われて、
とてもうらやましい。

落語とは本来、笑わせるもの、その意味では最高の落語家だった。
この人のすごいところは、小米時代のしっかりとした技術に裏打ちされた表現力だと思う。
落語会のピカソといってもいいだろう。
ただ、古い体質の落語会、頭の固い客に理解されず、本当に残念だ。
けれど、なくなった後の発売された落語のＤＶＤとしては異様な販売数が師匠の本当の評価を示しているのではないだろうか？
もっとも、このネタに関しては好みの関係で、星４つにしました。
