　８mm画を模したジャケット写真。｢忘れないから」の疾走感。一見哀しい結末に走っているかのようで、不思議な爽快感がある。聴く人によって感じ方が違うところも魅力的。それは個人の生き方に影響され易い曲だからかもしれない。昨年末のライブ中、もっとも私はのれた曲。実は「Dooms Day」がミソ。この曲を真夜中独りで聴くと結構凄い。ヘッドフォンをして低音を響かせて聴く事をおすすめします。

5.0 out of 5 stars イントロで踊ったＧａｃｋｔが忘れられない, 2005/10/11
私は、リリースの頃は、まだGacktファンとは言えなかったが、
この曲のイントロで、片手を高く上げ、顔は伏せかげんでステップを踏むように
踊ったGacktの姿がたまらなく好きだった。いくら真似をしてステップを踏んでみても
様になるものではなかった。

曲は、疾走感があり、散りばめられた究極の愛の言葉がせつない。
Gacktのボーカルは、低音は勇壮で、高音は優しい。

♪Dooms day は、いきないり重いイントロ、そしてたおやかなボーカルで始り、
そして、また激しく。そしてまた、やさしく…とかなり過激な曲である。

♪忘れないからのインストゥルメンタルでは改めてストリングスのメロディと、
ピアノの音色に魅せられる。

これらの曲は、その後にリリースされたアルバムＭＯＯＮに収録されているが、
私は、あえてこのたび、このシングルを求めて良かったと思う。

この曲って、ただ聴いていると結構ノリが良くって、明るいポップな曲だと思うんです。でも、歌詞だけをまず読んで見てください。切ないんです。すごく。Gacktがこの歌詞にどんな想いを込めたかはともかく、誰でもそんな風に思うことがあるのではないでしょうか。『あの日あの時のまま続けばいい』と…。絶対オススメです。
