ゴシック要素をとりいれたノイズまじりのラウドな
インダストリアルサウンドと
女性ヴォーカルの妖しく艶かしい歌声の絡み合いが絶妙で
ヘビーでいながらも、非常に美しく聴きやすい一枚となっています。

楽曲は少々暗めで重いですが、実はとてもメロディアスで
♯1からクオリティの高いサウンドとヴォーカルでゾクゾクとさせてくれます。
チェロの旋律が幻想的なバラード♯9も秀逸。

ヴォーカルも妖しげな雰囲気を保ちながらも
曲によって多彩な表情で魅せてくれます。

インダストリアル/ゴシックロックが好きな人は是非。

KMFDMの妹分のバンドと言って良いのでしょうか。
ティムスコルド加入後に製作されたマリリンマンソンの
The Golden Age Of Grotesqueと音作りがそっくりなのも納得。

また、『ブライドオブチャッキー』サントラで
リアレンジ前の"CRAZY"が聴けます。
でもコッチに収録されてる方が断然かっこいいです。
その『ブライドオブチャッキー』なのですが、
他の参加アーティストはバンド写真が記載されているのに関わらず、
彼らだけ映画作曲家のグラエムラヴェルと同様に、
名前だけしか載っていませんでした。
そのため、KTは映画作曲家の名前であって、
映画でティファニーを演じたジェニファー・ティリーが
ボーカル参加したのだと勘違いした人は多いのではないでしょうか？
私もクイーン~のサントラで彼らを再認識するまで知らず仕舞でした。

下のレビューにもあったように
エヴァネッセンスを聴くなら絶対こっちがオススメです。

とてもかっこいいバンドだと思うんですが、国内の外資系大手ＣＤショップを廻っても発見できず。。。アマゾンで購入できて良かったです。音造りもセンスが良くとても雰囲気のあるバンドですね、ガービッジを暗くしたようなというようなレヴューをどこかで見ましたが、生っぽくとても深みのあるボーカルにバックの有機的なサウンドセンスととてもカッコイイ作品です。オフィシャルウェブも充実しているし、なんであまりプッシュされないのかなぁ、、、これからに期待大！！！
