無理やりドリームキャストの発売日に出された不運のゲーム。自分はほとんどのゲームでアーケードモードしか遊ばないのでモードの少なさはいいが、足のつなぎ目や、見せ場である葵の袖の動きなどが、ちゃんと移植されていません。かなり後に出たNFL 2K1などを見ているとDCでも移植できるような気がします。自分はこのゲームの移植度だけがドリームキャストの残念な所ですね。（GGXXも）

発売当時に買いました。
ＤＣ発売に合わせ無理に作ったのがバレバレな内容です。
移植したのがセガじゃなく元気とか、そう言うのはどうでも良いけど、
なぜＶＳモードが無いのだろうか？
対戦メインのゲームなのにこれは酷すぎる。
キャラのモデリングも変で、間接を曲げたりすると大変なことになる。（笑）

ゲーム部分はなかなかまともに移植されているので良かった。

ＤＣ発売日と同時にリリースするために、未完成のまま発売したという殿堂入りソフトであり、世界中全てのＶＦ３ファンを裏切った作品です。

ＶＦ３というゲーム自体は、究極に素晴らしいゲームでる。VFは新しくなる度に戦闘スタイルが変わるのが特徴であり、VF2は社会的ブームになり、一方ＶＦ４はカッコよくしたつもりがダサ過ぎて全く受け入れられず・・・。

しかしVF３はVF４発売まで全国のゲームセンターで圧倒的な人気と支持を得ていたゲームです。

と、ここまでは良いのですが、問題はDCへの移植が未完成のままだということです。
冒頭にもあるように、セガ＝VFとも言われたように、ドリームキャスト発売日と同時にVF3がリリースされなければならないという会社の諸事情があり、未完成のままVF３は発売されてしまいました。

発売二週間前で開発度80％だったのにも関わらず、そこから７日で100%と記載されていました。しかし、それは不可能なことでした。

DC発売日、店頭でVFファンが観たのは、無惨な姿をしたVF３でした。

ドリームキャストには搭載されているPOWERVR2というグラフィックチップは、モデル2で使用されていたグラフィックチップの後継機でありモデル2の7倍以上、モデル3よりも2倍以上の能力差があります。ですから、完全移植は絶対に可能だったのです。
　現にバーチャロンオラトリオタングラムは処理落ちも無く完全移植しているのです。
　バーチャ3の移植がドリームキャストで出来ないはずがないのです！
　本当に残念！
