ジェイド・アンダーソンの一番の魅力は、そのナチュラル感。
ナチュラルと言っても決して単純な”癒し系”などではなく、自分で手がける楽曲や歌詞、声、歌い方・・・すべてジェイドが自分らしさ、リスナーに対する誠実さを大切にしたことの結果、生まれたもの。

「ＳｗｅｅｔＭｅｍｏｒｉｅｓ」の軽やかさや可愛らしさがとても好きですが、暗めの曲も良い感じです。
特に「ＤｉｖｅＤｅｅｐｅｒ」はポップスでありながら神々しささえ感じられ、ジェイドの才能を感じられずにはいられません。

とにかくジェイドの曲は歌を大事にしている気持ちがリスナーにもよく伝わってきて、とても良い気分で聴けることが最も素晴らしいと思います。
普遍的に支持されるポップスを歌うジェイド、注目して損はしません。

最近、これだけ素直で自然な声で歌う女性シンガーは、むしろ珍しいほうなのではないかと思いました。一度聴いたら忘れられない際立った個性の持ち主であり、どちらかと言えば癖のある歌い手であるお父さん(ジョン・アンダーソン)とは、透明感のあるハイトーンの声質という点では似ている部分もありますが、ジェイドの歌のほうがずっと聴き易く、まるで水に濡れたベルベットのような優しい感触があります。どの曲も微妙な陰影があり、不思議な落ち着きと静けさが漂っていて、今風のビートにもかかわらず何故か素朴な「弾き語り」の雰囲気も濃厚です。(先入観かもしれませんが)イギリスのシンガーソングライターの血筋と伝統が感じられます。

とっても綺麗で聞きやすい。
2002年発売から2005年現在まで、飽きないCDのひとつ。
聞き慣れれば　慣れる程、いいアルバム。
