~姫神の代表的な曲がおさめられています。ちなみに私の好きな曲は、奥の細道、風の彼方、早池峯、風の大地、えんぶり、千年の祈り、火振り神事、行秋、琥珀伝説、水光る、遠い日・風はあおあお、まほろば...です。ほとんどがすきといっても過言ではないですね。とくに姫神センセーションだった頃の曲は大好きです。姫神初期の曲は聴く人に取っては古くさく感じ~~てしまうかもしれませんが、それがまた古き日本を表現しているような気がします。姫神の曲は日本の情景や日本人の心情を見事に表現しているアーティストではないかと思います。日本人だからこそ、姫神の良さはわかるはずです。~

コーラスが少ないような気がしましたが、
シンセサイザーと二胡のハーモニーや和太鼓の勇壮なリズムなど色々な音の世界を楽しむことができました。
いくつものメロディを重ね合わせているので、曲に奥行きがありました。
それに人の声が加わった曲は物語を感じさせてくれます。

シンセサイザー奏者の喜多郎さんは、過疎の村の農家を借りて、夜に即興演奏をしています。その時に、悪い音楽は地に沈むけれども、良い音楽は天に昇ると実感したそうです。姫神の音楽も、星空に昇る音楽です。都会のネオンに焼けて、排気ガスに濁った、疲れた空ではありません。宮沢賢治の、平泉の、十三湊の、縄文時代の、黒潮に洗われる島々の上に広がるものです。太古の清澄な天が、頭上に広がります。都会でひとり住まいをしている方に薦めます。心の傷を癒してくれるでしょう。
