タイトルそのままですが、accessがデビューから1995年に活動を終了するまでのシングルコレクションで、Everytime youとUSはアルバム未収録だったカップリング曲。こうやって聴くと、活動期間の短さとは対照的なシングルの多さ、そしてそのシングル全てが代表曲ともいえそうな充実さに改めて驚かされます。

ちなみにこのアルバムは再発売で価格もお安くなって居ます。他の活動や再結成によってaccessを知った人にも安心してお勧めできる一枚です。

後にTMレボをプロデュースすることになる朝倉大介が在籍していたデュオがアクセスだった。ZARD・WANDS系の所謂ビーイングブームが吹き荒れる１９９３-９４年辺りでアクセスはそれらと一線を画した存在だった。

TMNのサポートを務めた事もある朝倉ならではの高度なデジタルサウンド、加えてデジタル故に等閑になりがちな邦楽特有の繊細で美麗なメロディーも特徴的で次々にリリースされるどの曲もが穴の無いサウンドですっかり当時は虜にされた記憶がある。

当時はまだ珍しかった金髪スタイルや、同姓愛をテーマにした三部作のリリース？等謎めいた事も含め、楽曲以外にも話題をさらった歌手だった。

未だに鮮烈に覚えているのがmoon shine danceでの朝倉がキーボードソロで肩にシンセを担いで演奏しているシーンだ。弾くというより叩いているという方が正しかったのかもしれない。でもカッコ良かった。

こういう一時代を築いて跡形も無く消えてしまったアーティストの曲はカラオケ、特に同世代で歌うと異常なノリで一体感が沸くものだ（勘違いかもしれないが）弾けもしないのにキーボードを叩く振りして狂ったように踊る自分がいたりする。。

中学生の時にMOONSHINE DANCEを買って以来アクセスにハマって
その頃は活動休止中でしたがシングルを集めたりしていました。
いかにも９０年代のサウンドといった感じですが
貴水さんの特徴的な高い声とシンセの音色が当時は新鮮でした。
MISTY HEARTBREAK、SWEET SILENCE、DRASTIC MERMAID辺りは何回も聴きました。
活動再開されたようですがやはり自分は活動休止前にハマっていた曲の方が好きです。
