カンニバルコープスの8枚目。アレックスが非常にいいことを言っている。 "最近デスメタルの本質を理解していない人達が大勢いるし、デスメタルの必要条件を満たしていないのにデスメタルと見なされているバンドも多い" よくぞ言ってくれました!まったくその通りだね!ではこのアルバムはどうか? なにもかもデスメタル以外のなにものでもないブルータルサウンドです。まるで脳味噌がシェイクされているかのような感覚にすら襲われる激烈なデスメタルなのです。それも1曲目から最後まで延々と続くのです。ブルデスファンなら狂喜すること間違いなし! まだ聴いてない人はすぐに注文しましょう。ブルデスファンなのにこのアルバムを聴かないなんて有り得ないぜ?!

またもや完璧な残虐世界を創り出している８th。今回はプロデューサーをニール・カーノン(JUDAS PRIEST、QUEENSRYCHE、DOKKEN等)に変えてきた。これまで以上にクリアな音像で仕上げられているが、ブルータルさに全く影響はない。ブルータル・デスメタルのリフ作りの神と化している帝王が止まることはない。徹頭徹尾、醜悪なメロディーセンスも健在で、知的な技法で辛辣に攻めてくる。ジョージの歌い方も工夫されている。歌詞も1 stから一貫して全く妥協のない残虐な表現が成されている。これまでアルバムのジャケット等の検閲を受けてきたのはごく自然な成り行きとして、以前、アメリカ大統領候補選に出馬した人物から“道徳上好ましくないバンド”の一つとして挙げられたことがあるらしいが、彼らは己の哲学を貫く為に、威風堂々と表現で、世間と戦っている。小さな事で悩んどる暇があったら、これを聴くべし！！

前作に比べて一段とパワーアップしています。
なにせ曲がかっこいいですよ。
１曲目から叩きのめされます。
カンニバルファンはもちろんの事、デスメタルファン、
近頃の重いだけの曲に飽き飽きしている人などには、
お勧めです。
是非、打ちのめされてください。

シークレットトラックにMetallicaの「No　Remorse」の
カバーが入っています！！！
