'99年にリリースされた6thアルバム。

基本的な音楽性は前作｢SOMEWHERE OUT IN SPACE｣の延長線上で、スピード感溢れるメロディック・パワー・メタルだ。
もはやこのバンドの場合、好悪を分けるのはカイ･ハンセンのVoに尽きるのではないだろうか。
他のアルバムを聴いてハンセンの声もひっくるめてGAMMA RAYのサウンドが気に入っている聴き手ならばこのアルバムも

絶対に満足できるし、逆の印象を持った聴き手には絶対にお薦めしない。

これだけ安定して高品質の作品を作り続けていることは凄い事だと思う。
ヘニユ・リヒター(G)の叙情的なメロディ･センスもバンドに欠かせないものとなりつつある。

　ドイツ出身のベテラン･へヴィ･メタル･バンドの、’９９年発表の６th。
　ギタリストとドラマーをメンバー･チェンジし、現行の編成となってからの２作目である。
　お得意の、メロディック･スピード･メタル･チューンが目白押しだが、プログレにも通じるような捻りに捻った展開と、凝りに凝った緻密なアレンジは定型のそれとは明らかに一線を画し、クォリティはこれまで以上に高い。
　演奏面も素晴らしく、テクニックや表現力が創り出す緊張感と迫力から、コンビネーションがより高まったのが伺える。
　PET SHOP BOYSカラという意外な選曲の７もバッチリはまっているあたりは、ユーモアというより貫禄であろう。
　長いキャリアを持つバンドの最高傑作、と評しても過言ではなかろう充実した内容だ。

タイトルと中身のイメージは全然ちがいますが、それはそれで、曲は良いです。ただ、過去のアルバムと比べておとなしくなっているようです。
