１曲目「Revellion In Dreamland」からして凄すぎです。ドラマティックな曲展開で聴いていて全く飽きを感じません。
他にも「Man On A Mission」「Land Of The Free」「Abyss Of The Void」等素晴らしい楽曲揃いです。
カイのVo.も賛否両論ですが僕は全く気になりませんでした。
初めてガンマレイを聞いてみようという方には特におすすめのアルバムです。

本作では久々にK.ハンセンがヴォーカルをとっている。強力なヴォーカリストだったR.シーパースの脱退は間違いなく痛いのだが、K.ハンセンの歌は初期HELLOWEENに比べると断然OK。GAMMA RAY史上最もドラマティックなアルバムとなっている。重厚なコーラスが印象的な先行シングル「REBELLION IN DREAMLAND」で幕を開け、疾走チューン「MAN ON A MISSION」につながる流れは最高！M.キスクの歌う「TIME TO BREAK FREE」など聴き所多し。

ラルフの脱退はかなり痛いのですが、
それを補うべくカイの本領が発揮しています！
ドイツの歴史と本作の歌詞が組み合って
さらに作品を深いものに仕上げています。

特にランドオブザフリーはガンマ史上最高の曲

カイのボーカルも賛否両論ですが、
初期ハロウィン時よりもうまくなっていますし、
何度か聴けばこれはこれで味があってよいです。

まぁキスクやラルフと比べるのは酷ですね。
